Teatro Union
Is the result of upcycling obsolete buildings in small towns around Colombia as communal spaces that can house a wide range of educational and creative activities aimed at enhancing cultural awareness among the local population. Teatro Union is a 1930’s cinema located in the historical city of Honda, Colombia, on the Magdalena River. Honda was the second most important port-town after Cartagena until the mid-twentieth century and the Magdalena River (or the River of Dreams) is the main river of Colombia flowing north.
